The Hike to Storaberget is a free event, open to IKIS members and not. Reservation needed. 

Details of the hike: 

Altitude difference: 280 m​

Total length: 6.8 km​

Estimated time roundtrip: 2.5-3 hours​

Hike that climbs one of the peaks above the lakes between Sandnes and Hommersåk. Nice view from the top. 

Packed lunch by the participants.​ Winter mountain shoes are necessary and layered clothing. 

Recommended for kids over 10years old. 

Date and departure:​

Sunday, June 23rd at 09:30 AM at the IKEA parking in Forus. Meeting also at the parking of departure on the road between Sandnes and Hommersåk (coordinates: 58.894300, 5.848765) at 10:00. The trip will be carried out with their own means by the participants. There is some chance of having a ride.​
