One of the year's highlights for IKIS is approaching: We are now preparing for our regional event. This year, we invite you to Abruzzo.
Time & Location
28 Sept 2024, 6:30 pm – 11:00 pm
Skipper Worse Ledaal, Erling Skjalgssons allé 10, Stavanger
About the event
Abruzzo is well-known for its stunning landscapes and natural environment, featuring parks, nature reserves, and characteristic hillside areas rich in vineyards and olive groves. Many of its beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status.
Located in central Italy, between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea, Abruzzo is one of Italy's most underrated regions. A third of the region is made up of national parks, making it a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and skiers.
We have invited dancers and musicians from Abruzzo to welcome you upon your arrival at Skipper Worse, where the event will take place. Of course, there will be plenty of food and wine from this year's featured region. You can find the menus further down.
As usual, we will provide a babysitter who will be responsible for entertaining the children in a separate room (ages 6-13 years).
Our Presenters:
Maccabbarri from Penne (Pescara): A folk group consisting of two musicians and three dancers and singers.
Odd Mosbergvik: A description of the variety of wines served during the evening.
Umberto Cocca: An introduction to Abruzzo.
Luca Cherstich: A history of Abruzzo.
Anette Muffo: A Norwegian who will talk about family life and the differences between living in Stavanger and Abruzzo.
